Our market is a great opportunity for up-and-coming artists or makers that are just starting to share their craft with a ready inventory of quality-made items.

Regular Vendors

We’re going for a cohesive feel to the space and will be providing fixtures at our expense. If you’d like us to set up your booth for you, we have an in-house merchandiser who would be happy to do that. If you’d like to merchandise your own space, you’re welcome to do that as well.

Product Lists
Email riversidemarket1533@gmail.com and request a Product List Google Sheet if one hasn’t been provided yet - this will be a unique Sheet that will be shared between Riverside Market and yourself.
Update the Product List Sheet with your products. The purple columns are the columns that will be unique to you.
Some columns have been hidden to make working with the spreadsheet easier. Don’t delete or reorder any columns.
Row 2 is a template for you to follow.
Row 3 shows an example of a product. You can safely delete rows 2 and 3 when you no longer need them.
Fill in all of the light purple columns with your product information.
Duplicate all prepopulated information in the other white columns.
Each product SKU needs to start with your 3 character vendor code which will be supplied by us and prepopulated in the template in Row 1. Finish creating the SKU by adding 3 - 4 characters after the vendor code. Make sure that each SKU is unique and that there are no duplicate SKUs.
Let us know when your Product List has been updated and we’ll import the products into MusicShop360. If you want to have us double check that you’re on the right track after adding just a few products please reach out. It will be easier on everyone if we can get the Product List right the first time around!
Getting your product list into the system is a first step and doesn’t reflect any inventory records yet.
Product Tagging
When you come in to drop off product we will print off labels for you and ask you to apply the labels to your products.
Product labels will be printed on 1” square labels.
Labeling options are:
Apply directly to the product (e.g. the label sticks directly to a bottle, box or other hard surface)
Affix one of these tags (we have some if you need some) and then stick the label on the tag.
Restocking
We have some storage available in the basement and you can provide some overstock if you’d like us to do some restocking for you. You will be welcome to come in and restock as needed as well. We will ask you to apply labels to all overstock when you drop it off.
-
You’ll be charged a monthly rental fee via a software called Yardi Breeze. Monthly payments will run automatically until the end of your lease.
-
We’ll be using a point of sale system called MusicShop360. This system is designed for music stores and has a consignment feature that we’ll utilize for all vendor sales.
Payouts will be paid via Venmo within the first week of each month for the month immediately preceding.
-
We are currently offering month-to-month leases, but there is room for negotiation and discussion should you need a different option.
-
Vendors hold liability for any loss, breakage or theft of their merchandise. Riverside Market will hold an insurance policy and will name the vendor as an additional insured. Likewise, vendors will be required to hold their own insurance policy and also name Riverside Market as an additional insured.
Here are some resources for insurance:
Veracity Insurance Solutions, LLC - If you purchase insurance via one of the custom links below, we will be sent the certificate of insurance that we need automatically.

One unique feature of Riverside Market is its connection to Riverside Guitar School. Riverside Guitar School will have a retail presence in the Market and Riverside's students will be among the customers at the Market so we want to make sure the visions for the school and market complement each other. Riverside Guitar School serves students of all ages but we do have a lot of families with young children (we have an early childhood music class for babies 0 - 3 years old and our regular guitar classes start at age 4 so think preschool-level type stuff). With the partnership between the School and the Market in mind we’re asking all vendors to steer clear of:
strong / offensive language
sexual content
overtly political content
We’re glad to talk through any pieces for which you might have content questions as there can be some gray area within this conversation.
Pop-Up Vendors
-
We have a 6’ x 13.5’ (total of 81 sq ft) pop-up space right in our front window on Lake Dr. You can rent this space by the day, week or month and pop-up rentals are available to the general public as well as to our regular vendors.

Host your class or event at Riverside Market! Looking to teach others how to make cool stuff or are you wanting to get your book club together at a fun location? Contact us about renting our gathering space. We can help with spreading the word about your event if it is a public-facing event.
Note: Our gathering space is integrated into the back of Riverside Market and for most events the plan would be to have Riverside Market open during the event. Semi-privacy can be achieved through use of our partition as needed.
